Getting the Template
Once you’ve watched the video:
- Click this link: A cool Roam Research Journaling Template using Text Blaze
- Click on the “Copy to Text Blaze” button (requires a free Text Blaze account and Chrome extension)
- Save the snippet to your Text Blaze dashboard
- Change the name and shortcut to something that suits you
The snippet might look a bit complicated but it’s actually quite simple. The commands being used are:
- {key}: emulates a keystroke (which is needed to create the hard line break and indentations in Roam) — read more here
- {time}: displays the current date and/or time in any desired format, and may also shift it into the past/future as specified (as in the case of this snippet — read more here
